Spot welding bleed thru

I have a recent problem with a fabricators spot welded parts.

After painting you can see the marks of the spot weld tip from spot weld to spotweld.

Ive had this problem years ago and the fabricator corrected the problem on his end. I just cant remember what he did. Could this be using an old spot weld tip or too much current?
