Topic: What type of finish
I am new to the finishing community and saw this gorgeous piece of art in a shop and wanted to duplicate its finish for a different project. Any help on how the artist achieved that deep blue and yellow? Thanks.

Re: What type of finish
I don't believe so, looking at it up close it appeared to be a treatment to the metal itself.

Re: What type of finish
It is very difficult to see from the photo but I was wondering if it could be some lacquer or enamel. It looks like the cloisonne art famous in Japan.
