I have a small job I was going to try to do myself maybe 24 sq inches my battery charger is dead can I use a auto battery ?

Re: power sourceHunter, I'm no expert on the subject but I do know that a car type battery is considered very "pure" power and can be used in many cases (in a small hobby type situation) for plating - but here is the problem..... You have not given us enough info to help. If you will provide more specifics about what exactly you are trying to accomplish I’m sure you'll get more response. Let us know what the plating solution is, the substrate, size, etc... Re: power sourceA battery is fine for a power source except 12V is a bit low, but workable.
