Topic: Black deposits on dummying
Hello
My name is Daniel Hernandez, i actually decided to put to work an old watts solution i have fogotten somewhere in my workshop, and the situation is as follows:
The piece i use for dummying is peeling on the border and showing black deposits, it burns easily. Does anybody know what type of contaminant is causing this?
thanks!

Re: Black deposits on dummying
Looking at your picture, it is hard to say for sure. In my experience, high-current-density (HCD) problems can come from organic contamination or chromium contamination. i would suggest you do a high-ph peroxide and carbon treatment, then run your tests again. If you have an AA, check the chromium.
