Palmetto Plating Co., Inc. will have a full time employment opening within the next few months. Successful candidate will be expected to begin on or before January 1, 2010 and must pass a drug test.
This position is permanent and will be a salaried job. It includes paid vacation time of two weeks (not consecutively) plus seven paid holidays. Hospital and life insurance are available with the company paying a portion of the employee’s premiums. A retirement plan with company matching benefits is available.
Desirable characteristics of applicants:
• Two years of college or Associates Degree preferred
• Familiarity with customer service duties, including but not limited to scheduling, order entry , and shipping
• Ability to work with customers, fellow employees, and management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (including Word and Excel) including the ability to design custom documents for both internal and external applications
• Good communications skills (both written and verbal
• Familiarity with automotive PPAP and APQP procedures and requirements
• Familiarity and work experience with an ISO registered company
• Familiarity and experience with ISO document and procedure systems associated with maintaining ISO registration
• Experience in manufacturing process supervision
• Experience in metal finishing is preferred but not required
