Topic: Antimicrobial powder
I have a customer that is asking us to apply antimicrobial powder to their raw parts. We have vendors that can supply the powder, but I don't know if handling the powder requires any special safety equipment (PPE). When we spray tradional powders, we use 3M Particulate Repirators (N85 #8511). Is anyone out there using anitimicrobial powder and if so, do your operators where masks, hood or space suits?

Re: Antimicrobial powder
What does the vendor of the powder recommend? You local OSHA or EPA entity may have something to say as well.

Re: Antimicrobial powder
Jeff, I agree with Dustin and the vendor should also be able to supply you with an MSDS that should guide you.
