Want safe reflective outsides on wrist-bracers. Need advice.

For use on skates or otherwise I need a method to check my rear and sides without changing stance/ moving my neck to much.

As such I was think of getting mirrored wrist/hand-guards to fill this function. 

There seem to be no such product available so I am contemplating commissioning such a product or starting on it myself.

My knowledge-base on this is minimal, so I figured  a thread here could help.

For starters: what light, non-fractioning material/alloy can be used for the reflective outside of this piece of gear?
