Color (Yellow) or no color (Clear)

With MIL-DTL-5541-F you can call out Type I, Class 1A, Yellow or Clear.

Where does the yellow come from?  Is it natural from the process or is it dyed?

How do you get the clear? Is it natural from the process or is it bleached out?
