Bonding Powder Coated Surface to Glass

Have been asked, in general, about bonding a powder coated surface to glass.  Have not been given any specifics.  Am assuming "glass" means soda-lime glass.  No specifics on the powder coating, or on the substrate material (alloy) having the coating.  The joint should be as "invisible" as possible.  Is this an application for an adhesive?  Thanks for your help!
