powder coating fabric

Hello,�I am a graduate student in fashion/textile design and I have read about metal coating fabric. I love the look of the fabric unfortunately, it isn't for sale.�

Here's what I've seen out of Japan.�

" Polyester is polished by a calendar (factory size ironing machine) to be mirror-smooth. then the three powdered metals– chrome, nickel, and iron –, all components of stainless steel are “spatter-plated” onto the polyester into a shiny “stainless” finish.�

Can you tell me anything about how I can have some fabric finished this way?�
