There are a few things to focus on but one that has been used often is the process of using weight. When we really want to get exact information on how much powder is being consumed per part, you can take a sampling of parts and weigh them prior to powder coating. You then must have an exact weight and volume of powder that is being used for the job. 1. Prior to powder coating. Weigh your part(s). Write this number down. Larger samplings over a longer period of time will give you better results and will be more accurate. There are other ways on larger scales just by taking detailed line notes. Remember, you have to take in consideration rework parts. Let me know if this helps ok.
