Hi,
Sir I am salman from Pakistan. I am running a very small piston manufacturing business here in Pakistan. I would like to take your help. I am a layman in Piston coating. I would like, you should suggest me/ guide me different type of coatings, thier techniques, their baths. Our piston material is high silicon aluminum alloy. I need some wear resistant type of coatings. Please help me.

Unfortunately, you have posted your request in the Powder Coating portion of www.finishingtalk.com. Your situation is not one that can be remedied by powder coating. You may get better results through the Plating section.

Would like to help, but need more info. What type of resistance are you referrring to...heat resistance, electrical resistance, UV resistance, ....?

I have one of the best piston coatings in the world, as proved through Falex wear testing machine. My coating is approved to MIL-46010 and AS5272 rev.A. send me a message and I can direct you.
