Department Description: Quick turn Printed Circuit fabrication operation that produces state of the art high density interconnects printed circuit boards. Department handles all fabrication aspects from material procurement to final electrical test and board delivery to worldwide customers. Boards are used by Motorola development groups in various communication programs.

Responsibilities/Expectations: This individual will be responsible for maintenance and support of a printed circuit board plating operation and will work with area supervisors to insure minimum process down time.

Duties include:
*Developing and implementing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules.
*Performing all required PM in a timely basis and order/maintain replacement system components using a computer based system as required.
*Generating reports and participating in maintenance scheduling meetings.

The technician will be responsible for various processing equipment types such as: grinder, etcher, chemical sump systems, vacuum press and various smaller processing systems. He/she will be responsible for the safe operating condition of their equipment.

The person in this position will be required to work overtime and weekends and is expected to report to work on time and issue weekly reports.

**AA Degree in Electronics

2 + years of experience Electrical Theory**

Must be knowledgeable in basic electronic and electrical theory as it applies to: motors, motor drive systems, electronics component troubleshooting, sensors (hall, proximity, etc.), electrical power distribution and controls, high voltage power supplies, temperature controllers and fluid heating systems, computer controllers and other various manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge of fluid transfer systems, plating operations and laser knowledge will be a plus.

Three years experience working in a high tech manufacturing environment as an equipment support technician.

Must be a self-starter, require minimum supervision, and work well under time constraints.

Must be able to issue reports on time to management using good written skills.

Computer office application skills are required in MS Excel, MS word, etc. Cadd knowledge a plus.

Must know how to follow and implement safe working procedures.
