Plating onto aluminum bronze

We have an inquiry to plate our nickel/silicon carbide coating onto a bronze alloy containing 11% aluminum. Does anyone out there have any experience of plating onto this material? The plating thickness will be approx. 0.004" or so, and adhesion must be excellent - any ideas?
