Topic: Nickel on large SS mesh
Can anyone here in the community share tips and information about applying Electroless Nickel plating to create a uniform nickel coating over stainless steel mesh (18”x18”)?

Would need to woods nickel strike first (solution of nickel chloride and hydrochloric acid - nickel anodes). Then go directly into electroless nickel solution (no rinse). May need to initiate plating with leads from rectifier for few seconds, then electroless plating should continue. Need good agitation to ensure inner dimensions of mesh plate uniform as well.
