Re: Linked IN and other professional networks

There are numerous B2B and professional networks which can help you stay in touch with friends, colleagues as well as reach lots of professionals that you did not know but that you can be introduced to because of your connections.

I am involved in several networks including ecademy, ryze, openbc and others but the one I have my largest connection on right now is LinkedIN.   I can now reach over 3.3 million people  in 55+ countries through my 1100+ trusted connections.    This means anyone linking with me can gain access through an introduction to about 350,000 people.  This is a great tool for executives, sales managers, product developers, HR, engineers, job hunters or any professional really.  It is not a spam type network and basic membership is free.

Feel free to take a look at my profile at http://www.linkedin.com/in/SteveAnzelc If you are already on Linked In, I am open to connect with other metal finishing professionals.  If you are new, send me an email about you and your business and I can send you an invitation.  My email is tech.busdev@yahoo.com

Re: Linked IN and other professional networks

Steve,

I saw in your profile on linkined that you are putting together a book on diving experiences.  You should talk to the owners of American Plating Power Waasy and Peter in Ft. Myers.  They are both avid divers and shared some great stories with us at Sur-Fin in Milwaukee this year.

Good luck with the book!

Re: Linked IN and other professional networks

Thanks for the encouragement and the leads.  I am thinking of a coffee table book called something like "Diving off the Corporate Ladder" a Photojourney of the professionals that leave the sharks in the board room for the world below.

I am seeking memorable diving stories, pictures and humor from Executives that Scuba Dive to get away from it all or to enjoy the Sharks below.

Re: Linked IN and other professional networks

Griffe,  Diving is an obscure metal treatment term regarding....just kidding wink
I was speaking about deep sea diving. Sorry for the confusion of posting in a metals forum.   I am doing a book on when professionals go diving to get away from it all and would love to hear stories from metal finishing professionals:  Here is a better summary:

Working on a Coffee Table Book:

“DIVING from the Corporate Ladder” by Steve Anzelc.  A photographic journey of memorable diving experiences from executives and professionals that leave the corporate sharks to dive among the real ones below.

I am seeking incredible stories (not just sharks but anything underwater), memorable events, close calls, humor and other dive related stories and pictures for potential publication.  Although I cannot compensate contributors, I will acknowledge contributions in the book as well as notify by mail when the book is published, if requested.

Thanks….   Steve Anzelc    tech.busdev@yahoo.com 937 430 1307 USA

Re: Linked IN and other professional networks

Thanks.. look forward to hearing about your underwater experiences.  Heh, I see you are in North Carolina.  Do you know anyone that could use a Business Developer/Sales Engineer for metal finishing related products or services in the SouthEast.
