Title:		Salesman (Industrial)			Full Time, Permanent

Company:	ASSOCIATED RACK CORPORATION (ARC)

Associated Rack Corporation, the largest manufacturer of metal finishing racks, baskets, and fixtures in North America, has seven divisions throughout the U.S. and is looking for outside salesmen in three of its facilities:

		Chicago, Illinois                  (Southern MI, Northern IN)
		Euless, Texas 		(Dallas-Ft. Worth)
		Rutherfordton, N.C.	(Southwestern N.C.)

These are challenging established positions with excellent rewards.  Sales personnel must be able to work in fast-paced environments as well as build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Candidates must live in one of these locations:

	1.  Chicago metro, northwest Indiana, or southwest Michigan
	2.  Dallas-Ft. Worth metro or south central Oklahoma
	3.  Charlotte-Statesville-Ashville-Greenville (SC) area



 	Major Responsibilities
	1.  Schedule coverage of territory so that all customers and potential customers are seen 	
                 on the basis necessary to produce sales.
	2.  Collect the technical information necessary to create the design of products and use 	  	     that to produce quotations and work orders.
	3.  Maintain personal and professional relationships with customers and company 	
                 employees.
  	              
	Essential Functions
	
A.	Travel continually by company vehicle (approximately 11 nights out per month).
B.	Design tooling through interviews with the customers or suppliers.
C.	Price tooling, generate quotes, and issue shop orders.
D.	Work as an effective team member with office and factory personnel.
E.	Provide manufacturing support during production.
F.	Maintain organized files of information concerning accounts.
G.	Attend regional trade society meetings.


Beneficial Skills

A.	Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain working relationships in person or on phone with internal and external personnel. 
B.	Knowledge of the metal finishing industry.
C.	Good verbal, and written communication skills.  
D.	Problem solving ability to work independently and as a team member.
E.	Conscientious, well-organized, approach to work assignments.
F.	Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.
G.	Good driving record.
