			<content type="html">Xtalic Corporation is a dynamic, venture-funded start-up company in the Boston area.  We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented engineer with extensive knowledge of electroplating and metal finishing processes. The successful candidate will take a leadership role in the commercialization of innovative new processes based on MIT-developed nanotechnology. The primary responsibilities of this person will include:

* Designing and running pilot-scale plating facilities.
* Playing a lead role in scaling up laboratory-developed processes to the pilot scale.
* Transitioning new electrodeposition processes to the industrial scale, including on-site consultations/implementations with customers.

This is a senior position, and we are seeking candidates with the following experience, background and skills:

* BS or advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
* 7+ years of experience in the electroplating and metal finishing industry.
* Working knowledge of the process chemistry and mechanics (heating, filtering, etc.) of industrial electroplating baths.
* An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot based on limited information/experience when necessary.
* Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Candidates with experience in commercializing new electroplating processes, and particularly with setting up new electroplating facilities or lines, will receive particular attention.
