new member here, good to see a forum for these finishing topics.

I'm the supervisor of a powder coating department, we designed, purchased & installed our automated finishing line a little over a year ago.

We run a simple 8' per minute I beam monorail, around 800' of chain total. 5 stage wash, dry off oven, application room has 3 booths, 2 booths are reclaim booths with automatic guns, one booth is a spray to waste for low volume colors.

We process mostly cold rolled sheetmetal parts. Cure oven is a basic gas fired convection oven, TGIC polyester powder...

that's about all I can think of, nice little system.

I myself have been in the industrial finishing business for around 15 years.

Always looking to learn new stuff, this looks like a good place to learn.
