Topic: solderable coating?

I have some 6061 aluminum parts that I want to solder wires to using a standard lead-tin solder. What is the best plated coating to apply assuming I'm not worried about corrosion or other factors? Is sulfamate nickel a better choice than EN?

Re: solderable coating?

I would go for a zincate followed by an alkaline copper solution, because you will need a good adhesion in the areas where the part is heated.
