Topic: Rinse stages
Need to know if it would be better to use R.O.water in all rinse stages. We aren't having any issues with anything , but would just like to get some feedback on this. Stages 3,4,7,8 all currently use city water and 10 in R.O. The city waters conductivity comes in around 600-1000 and we are wanting to get under 300. Would this make that big of a difference?

Re: Rinse stages
RO water (or DI water) would definitely get you below your goal of 300. What is this process? Some stages actually prefer the use of city water, as RO/DI water can be too aggressive and passivate the surface.

Re: Rinse stages
Sorry for the delay!!! We have ran into other problems dealing with foam in paint tank. We have e coat system. We are currently just overflowing more on our rinse stages to lower the cond. but still isnt below 300. If we were to run DI to these rinse stages we would need to add some more filters and add to our holding tank so we could support the demand of water.
